Bio:
The Dala horse is a traditional Swedish wooden figure originating in the province of Dalarna. Initially carved as a children’s toy, it developed into a widely recognised symbol of Swedish folk art. These hand-carved figures range from examples with colourful, flowing floral decoration to more simply painted versions.
