Bio:
Japanese porcelain has a long tradition dating back to the early 17th century, when porcelain production developed around Arita. Over the centuries, Japanese workshops have created both functional and decorative objects featuring distinctive motifs, calligraphy and colourful glazed decorations. During the 1980s, these traditions continued in the production of small sake cups, combining classical forms and ornaments with individual expressions. The cups reflect the Japanese appreciation of craftsmanship, aesthetics and everyday rituals.
