Bio:
Danish design of the 1960s showed a strong interest in natural materials and skilled craftsmanship. Exotic woods were frequently used for smaller functional objects, with the colour, texture and grain of the wood forming an important part of their decorative character. Salt and pepper mills from the period combine practical function with distinctive turned and sculptural forms.
