Bio:
Lisa Larson (1931–2024) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer who studied at the School of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg. She joined Gustavsberg in 1954 and became particularly renowned for her humorous and characterful figures of people and animals. Her Pippi Longstocking was designed in 1967 after Astrid Lindgren’s famous literary character and was produced by Gustavsberg for only a short period from 1969 to 1971.
