Bio:
Stig Brynell was a Swedish artist who worked in a modernist and abstract visual language. In this work, clearly defined geometric fields of colour are combined with organic, stylised forms, characteristic of the continued development of abstraction in Scandinavian art during the 1970s. Only limited verifiable biographical information about the artist is available in commonly accessible artist records, and details concerning his artistic education and exhibition history therefore cannot be established with certainty.
