Bio:
The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710 and is Europe’s oldest porcelain manufactory. The Crossed Swords have served as the manufactory’s distinctive trademark since 1722. The Vine Leaves pattern, with its green leaves and trailing vines, belongs to Meissen’s classic botanical repertoire. Grinding lines adjacent to the factory mark were used to indicate the porcelain’s quality classification.
