Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a Danish sculptor, silversmith and designer, born in Godhavn, Greenland. He trained as a decorative sculptor and later studied at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen. In 1918, he established the Just Andersen company with his wife Alba. He became particularly known for decorative and functional objects in pewter, bronze and Disko metal and is regarded as an important figure in Danish decorative arts of the first half of the 20th century.
