Louis Vuitton was founded in Paris in 1854 by Louis Vuitton (1821–1892), who began his career as a trunk maker. The company became renowned for luxury travel trunks and luggage before developing an extensive range of bags and accessories. The distinctive LV monogram was introduced in 1896 by his son Georges Vuitton and became one of the fashion house’s most recognisable signatures. The Mini Monogram line interprets this historic pattern on a smaller scale across textile-based materials.
