Bio:
The Ludwigsburg Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1758 by Duke Carl Eugen of Württemberg. Figures and figural groups formed an important part of its production from the beginning, and the manufactory became particularly renowned for its sculptural porcelain. The original manufactory closed in 1824.
