Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Blue Fluted is the factory’s historic blue decoration, and Half Lace is a development of the classic Blue Fluted service distinguished by its more elaborate border decoration. The hand-painted porcelain has remained an important part of Royal Copenhagen’s production and the Danish porcelain tradition for generations.
