Max Seidenfaden, sculpture.

Organic and abstract sculpture executed in patinated metal with a strong, raw surface texture. The composition consists of elongated, pointed and curved forms arranged around a vertical axis and mounted on a square base. The model is signed with the stamped mark “Max S”.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Max Seidenfaden.
Material: Metal.
Dimensions: H. 42 cm, W. 11 cm.
Period: 1980s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Max Seidenfaden (b. 1947) is a Danish artist and gallerist known for sculptural works with organic and abstract forms. He operated a gallery in Frederiksberg for many years and played a central role in developing Cisternerne in Søndermarken as an exhibition venue. In 2001, Cisternerne opened as the Museum of Modern Glass Art under his direction. His sculptural output includes works in metal and bronze characterised by raw, expressive surfaces.
