Bio:
Jens Petersen (1890–1956) was a Danish ceramicist based in Esbjerg. He worked closely with his uncle Søren Kongstrand and developed his own distinctive style characterised by organic and sculptural forms and lustre glazes. Petersen produced unique vases, bowls and figures, often signed with the initials JP. His ceramic works were exhibited alongside those of Kongstrand at Esbjerg Museum in 2003.
