Bio:
Taisto Kaasinen (1918–1980) was a Finnish ceramic artist and sculptor. He worked at Arabia in Finland before joining Upsala Ekeby from 1953 to 1961, where he created a distinctive body of wall plaques, reliefs and animal sculptures. His work is recognised for its bold forms, vibrant glazes and nature-inspired motifs, and he also completed several major public ceramic commissions in Sweden.
