Edgar Böckman (1890–1981) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer. He served as artistic director at Höganäs from 1915 to 1926, where he developed the company's distinctive decorative faience and experimented with salt glazes and lustre glazes, including the iridescent rouge flambé finish. He later worked for Rörstrand, established his own pottery studio, and became head teacher of ceramics at Konstfack in Stockholm from 1947 to 1957, influencing a generation of leading Swedish ceramicists.
