Bio:
Sigvard Bernadotte (1907–2002) was a Swedish prince and industrial designer regarded as one of Scandinavias most influential designers. Together with Danish architect and designer Acton Bjørn (1910–1992), he founded the Bernadotte & Bjørn design studio, creating furniture, industrial products and lighting of enduring quality. Their designs for Nordisk Solar are recognised for their functionalist approach, refined proportions and timeless Scandinavian aesthetic.
