Collection comprising a candlestick, a small bowl and two small porcelain dishes with hand-painted decoration. All pieces are cancelled with two incised lines and marked with the Meissen crossed swords.
Origin: Germany.

Period: Early 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

The Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710 and was Europes first producer of hard-paste porcelain. Its famous crossed swords mark was introduced in the 1720s and is among the worlds oldest trademarks. Meissen is renowned for its hand-painted porcelain, detailed decoration and the exceptional quality of its modelling and craftsmanship.
