Svend Åge Madsen was a Danish furniture designer whose main period of activity was the 1960s. His furniture was often produced in teak and rosewood with curved fronts, sloping drawers and distinctive leg constructions. Sigurd Hansen Møbelfabrik manufactured several of his desks, including model SH 180.
