Jens Harald Quistgaard for Kronjyden / Bing & Grøndahl, set of five pieces.

Porcelain set from the Cordial series comprising a candlestick, a sugar bowl, two bowls and one small dish. The distinctive relief pattern around the rim and the soft grey glaze give the series its timeless and functional character.

Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 6–11 cm, D. 8–11 cm.
Period: 1970/80s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919–2008) was a Danish designer and sculptor, widely regarded as one of the leading figures of twentieth-century Scandinavian design. He created numerous iconic designs for Kronjyden, Bing & Grøndahl and Dansk Designs, combining functionality with refined organic aesthetics. His Cordial tableware remains one of his most celebrated porcelain services.
