Bio:
Kaija Aarikka (1929–2014) was a Finnish designer and founder of Aarikka. She gained international recognition for her decorative objects and jewellery characterised by simple organic forms. Timo Sarpaneva (1926–2006) is regarded as one of Finland’s most influential designers, working across glass, textiles, graphic design and industrial design. Their collaboration combined artistic innovation with functional simplicity, resulting in several iconic design objects.
