Bio:
Van Briggle Pottery was founded in 1901 in Colorado Springs by Artus Van Briggle (1869–1904), an American ceramic artist celebrated for his innovative matte glazes and influence on the American Arts and Crafts movement. The company gained international recognition for its artistic forms and distinctive glazes, which remain among the most sought-after examples of American art pottery today.
