The Venus Kallipygos model executed in faience with a turquoise glaze. Designed by Kai Nielsen for Ipsens Enke, inspired by the classical sculptural traditions of antiquity.

Bio:
Kai Nielsen (1882–1924) was a Danish sculptor and ceramic designer, renowned for his elegant figurative works inspired by classical art and nature. He collaborated with several leading Danish art industries, including Ipsens Enke, where his sculptural models were produced in ceramics and faience. His work is regarded as among the most significant contributions to Danish decorative arts in the first half of the twentieth century.
