Bio:
Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was one of Sweden’s most celebrated ceramic artists and spent most of his career at Gustavsberg. He is particularly renowned for his flawlessly thrown forms and sophisticated hare’s fur glazes, which made his work highly sought after by collectors worldwide. Friberg’s ceramics are represented in major international museum collections and are considered among the finest examples of Swedish studio pottery.
