Bio:
Erik Jerk Werkmäster (1896–1978) was a Swedish artist, designer and exhibition architect. He studied at Konstfack and the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm and worked across mural decoration, painting and applied arts. In collaboration with Nittsjö Keramik he designed a number of ceramic forms that combined functionalism with a distinctive artistic expression. His work is represented in several Swedish museum and public collections.
