Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Danish-Finnish ceramic artist and designer who became one of the most influential figures in Nordic ceramics during the 20th century. He served as artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931 and created some of the factory’s most sought-after stoneware collections. Nylund is particularly celebrated for his organic forms and innovative glaze techniques, which left a lasting impact on Scandinavian design history.
