Mari Simmulson (1911-2000) was an Estonian-born Swedish ceramic artist and designer who worked for Upsala-Ekeby from 1949 to 1972. She created a wide range of distinctive ceramic models characterised by vibrant glazes, decorative patterns and a highly individual style. Her works are considered among the most sought-after examples of mid-century Swedish ceramics.
