Bio:
Anna-Lisa Thomson was a Swedish ceramicist, designer, and visual artist, born in 1905 and died in 1952. She worked for both Upsala-Ekeby and Gefle Porcelain Factory and is especially renowned for her elegant art deco and modernist ceramic works. Her designs often combined organic forms with refined relief patterns, and her work is now regarded as some of the most important Swedish ceramics of the mid-20th century.
