Bio:
Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish-Finnish ceramicist, designer and sculptor, regarded as one of the most important Nordic ceramic designers of the 20th century. As artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931, he created some of the factory’s most iconic stoneware series, often distinguished by organic forms, elegant silhouettes and experimental glazes. His works remain highly sought after by international collectors today.
