Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most significant designers and sculptors, internationally acclaimed for his work in glass, porcelain, silver, and industrial design. His style united nature-inspired organic lines with functionalist simplicity. For Rosenthal Studio-Line, he created refined porcelain series that combined sculptural elegance with practical function.
