Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most significant designers and sculptors, internationally acclaimed for his work in glass, porcelain, silver, and industrial design. His style was defined by nature-inspired organic lines, sculptural simplicity, and functional elegance. For Rosenthal Studio-Line, he created distinctive porcelain series that united international modernism with Nordic design sensibility.
