Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Danish-Finnish ceramicist and designer, recognized as one of the most influential Scandinavian ceramic artists of the 20th century. As artistic director at Rörstrand from 1931, he pioneered innovative stoneware distinguished by organic forms and experimental glazes. His work united functionalism with artistic sophistication and remains among the finest achievements in Nordic ceramic design.
