Bio:
Bing & Grøndahl was founded in Copenhagen in 1853 by sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl (1836–1900) together with brothers Meyer Hermann Bing (1807–1883) and Jacob Herman Bing (1800–1875). The factory became internationally recognised for its fine porcelain, especially blue underglaze-decorated services such as the Butterfly series, combining refined Danish design with exceptional craftsmanship.
