Rosenthal was founded in 1879 by Philipp Rosenthal in Germany and became one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of porcelain and glass. In the 1990s, the company began collaborating with the Italian fashion house Versace, merging classic forms with the brand’s richly decorative aesthetic, including the iconic Medusa motif inspired by Greek mythology.
