Bio:
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most influential designers and a key figure in Scandinavian modernism. He worked across glass, wood, and metal, creating numerous iconic designs for companies such as Iittala. Wirkkala’s work is characterised by organic forms inspired by nature and exceptional craftsmanship, making his pieces highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
