Johann Lötz Witwe was an Austrian glass manufacturer founded in 1836 in Klostermühle, Bohemia. The company gained international recognition around 1900 for its iridescent art glass with organic forms and advanced glassmaking techniques. During the interwar period, production evolved towards more sculptural and decorative expressions, often featuring applied glass elements as seen on this vase.
