Hand-thrown porcelain bowl with detailed blue underglaze decoration, featuring ornamental and stylised motifs characteristic of the period.
Origin: China.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 7 cm, D. 17 cm.
Period: Ming dynasty (1368–1644).
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.
Bio:
The Ming dynasty (1368–1644) marks a key period in the development of Chinese porcelain, when blue and white underglaze decoration reached a high artistic level. Production was concentrated in Jingdezhen, renowned for its technical precision and aesthetic quality. Objects from this period are among the most sought after in Asian ceramics today.
