Bio:
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most important designers and sculptors. He worked across multiple materials including glass, porcelain, wood and metal, and became renowned for his organic and sculptural design language. Wirkkala collaborated with several international manufacturers, including Rosenthal, where he produced timeless and functional designs combining Nordic aesthetics with industrial precision.
