Bio:
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most important designers, working across glass, ceramics, silver and graphic design. His collaboration with Iittala resulted in some of the most iconic glass designs of Nordic modernism, often inspired by natural forms, especially ice and water. His works are represented in museums worldwide.
