Bio:
Gunnar Fohlin (1924–1998) was a Swedish painter, printmaker, and craftsman. He worked across several media including drawing, gouache, and graphic techniques, producing both figurative and abstract compositions. Fohlin exhibited widely in Sweden during the second half of the twentieth century, and his work is characterised by confident line work and a sensitive treatment of form and space, often inspired by landscapes, coastal scenes, and everyday life.
