Bio:
Murano has been a centre of Italian glassmaking since the Middle Ages. During the twentieth century, the island’s glasshouses gained international recognition for technical innovation and experimental forms, particularly in the 1950s and 60s, when encased colours and sculptural silhouettes became characteristic of the period.
