Eva Stæhr-Nielsen for Saxbo, vase.
Cylindrical stoneware vase with vertically arranged, diagonally cut relief grooves and a uniform light beige glaze. A restrained modernist form with a distinctly textured surface.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Eva Stæhr-Nielsen (1911–1976).
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 22 cm, D. 11 cm.
Period: Mid 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Eva Stæhr-Nielsen (1911–1976) was a prominent Danish ceramicist and one of the key designers at Saxbo. Active at the workshop from the 1930s onward, she became known for her architectural, disciplined forms combined with refined glazes. Her works represent a high point of Danish modernist stoneware and are today highly sought after by collectors.
