Large circular porcelain dish with relief decoration and hand-painted flowers in polychrome colours and a gilded rim. Marked with Meissen crossed swords and first factory quality.

The Meissen porcelain factory was founded in 1710 in Saxony and is the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe. The factory is internationally known for its high-quality hand-painted porcelain and its characteristic mark of the blue crossed swords, used since the eighteenth century.
