Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest pattern, first introduced in 1775. The decoration is executed freehand in cobalt under the glaze, resulting in subtle variations that reveal the painter’s hand. Around 1900, the pattern was firmly established as a cornerstone of Danish porcelain production, valued for its balance of refined form, durability, and timeless design.
