Karl Hansen Reistrup for Kähler, figurine.
Small stoneware figurine with uranium glaze, commonly referred to as “Devil” in collector terminology, produced for the Kähler workshop in the late 19th century.

Origin: Denmark.
Designer: Karl Hansen Reistrup.
Material: Stoneware with uranium glaze.
Dimensions: H. 7 cm, D. 12 cm.
Period: approx. 1890s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Karl Hansen Reistrup (1863–1923) was a Danish artist, sculptor, and ceramicist.
He worked across the boundaries of fine art and decorative arts.
In the 1890s he collaborated with Herman A. Kähler in Næstved.
There he created distinctive figurative ceramic works.
His output is noted for expressive forms and experimental glaze techniques.
