Bio:
Founded in 1710, Meissen is the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe. Renowned for its hard-paste porcelain, hand-painted decoration and the iconic crossed swords mark, Meissen maintained a strong commitment to classical and naturalistic decoration during the interwar period. Botanical motifs such as vine leaves formed part of the manufactory’s enduring repertoire, reflecting both technical mastery and continuity of tradition.
