Bio:
Bertil Vallien is one of the most influential figures in Swedish art glass and has played a central role at Kosta Boda since the 1960s. During the 1980s he worked extensively with organic forms, iridescent surfaces and artistic expressions that blur the line between functional object and sculpture. Works from this period are highly sought after by collectors and are represented in museum collections worldwide.
