Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain was introduced in 1775 and is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most traditional pattern. Inspired by Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, it is characterised by its disciplined composition, rhythmic brushwork and finely executed hand-painted decoration. More sculptural serving forms such as this triangular dish were produced in smaller numbers and reflect the continued refinement of classic tableware designs in the mid-20th century.
