Elegant set comprising four demi-tasse coffee cups with matching saucers in white porcelain, decorated with a subtle leaf motif executed in transparent, lightly green-tinted glaze areas. The light, refined appearance and softly rounded forms are characteristic of Friedl Holzer-Kjellberg’s later porcelain designs for Arabia.

Bio:
Friedl Holzer-Kjellberg (1905–1993) was an Austrian-born ceramic artist who worked at Arabia in Finland from 1936. She is particularly renowned for her technically refined porcelain works, including the celebrated “rice porcelain”, as well as later series featuring embossed and transparent decoration. Her designs unite technical innovation with Nordic modernism and are highly sought after by collectors today.
