Elegant set comprising four demi-tasse coffee cups with matching saucers in white porcelain, decorated with a subtle leaf motif executed in transparent, lightly green-tinted glaze areas. The light and harmonious appearance combined with softly rounded forms is characteristic of Friedl Holzer-Kjellberg’s later porcelain designs for Arabia.

Bio:
Friedl Holzer-Kjellberg (1905–1993) was an Austrian-born ceramic artist who worked at Arabia in Finland from 1936. She is particularly renowned for her technically refined porcelain, including the internationally celebrated “rice porcelain”, as well as later series featuring embossed and transparent decoration. Her work represents a refined expression of Nordic modernism and is highly sought after by collectors today.
