Bio:
Introduced in 1775, Blue Fluted Plain is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most historically significant service. Inspired by Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, the pattern is distinguished by its disciplined composition and finely hand-painted decoration. Demitasse cups were traditionally used for serving strong coffee and are today highly sought after by collectors, particularly early examples from the 19th century.
