Bio:
Svend Hammershøi was a leading figure in Danish ceramics in the first half of the 20th century and maintained a long-standing collaboration with Kähler in Næstved. His work is defined by strict geometry, calm proportions, and experimental glazes, often in deep, muted tones. Today, his ceramics from the 1920s and 1930s are regarded as seminal works in the history of Danish modern ceramics.
